YD1ARZ

Greetings from the homepage of YD1ARZ.

We appreciate your presence on the 2 m and 40 m bands, where we are receiving signals from Indonesia and other countries.

I have been an amateur radio operator for a long time, having started with very basic, cheaply constructed equipment. Now radio technology is very developed, and we must quickly follow it.

Officially, agricultural science is my area of expertise. I am employed at the Padjadjaran University Faculty of Agriculture in Bandung, Indonesia, where I specialize in the cultivation of non-traditional food crops (alternative food crops).

I am Aep Wawan Irwan, and I was born fifty-one years ago in Bandung, Indonesia.

Since 2005, I have been staying at Rancaekek Kencana Kabupaten Bandung, West Java.

hese are the specifications of my station:

On the radio:

The ICOM IC-2300H

Kenwood TR 9130, 2-meter All-Mode Transceiver.

JJ HF SSB TRANSCEIVER (Homemade) 40 M Band

Wouxun KG-UV9D, Texas, and HT Boefeng UV-66

The antenna:

Vertical antenna, 144 MHz, HiGain

Vertical antenna, 144 MHz, Ring-O

Inverted V for 40 m band

My equipment is far from perfect for a radio amateur.
